We finally got married! Can you believe it? We’ve been engaged for 2 years and together for 9 years. It was a small ceremony at Egner Chapel at Muhlenberg College with just our parents and siblings. In a year we’ll be having another wedding with our full families and all our friends, so please don’t feel left out! We needed to get married sooner for a few different reasons other than just loving each other so much. It was great though because I had the opportunity to do things a little different with this wedding.
Because I’m all about that ethical lifestyle, I want to highlight a few companies and items that I wore that day. My earrings are from Noonday Collection, and I received them in my fall 2015 Causebox. My shoes were actually Toms booties in black and finally my silver bracelet is from Invisible Children. The “fur” is fake and from one of my sweater vests that happened to be removable. 😉
I also wanted to share that right when we got home the fire alarm went off (still in my wedding dress) and we were stuck waiting for the firemen to tell it was safe to head back inside, I have to say it was an eventful day. I’ll share more soon once I’m finished with midterms!
Oh by the way, yeah it did snow, rain and shine on my wedding day!
