So for those of you who haven’t heard, I’m leaving my job. There’s a lot of family things going on right now and I feel like I need to concentrate on just my family right now. So this means I’ll have much more time for Choosing Human so I’m really excited for the change even though this was an incredibly hard decision and it really weighed on me. All I have to do is get through the next week and a half and it’s all over. I have to say my work load at my job has grown incredibly as I try to finish all my projects that I would have had a month or so to complete in only a week, along with new resources I’m creating for the person who takes my job over. But I’m excited to spend more time with my family soon and have a more “relaxing” summer.
I just signed up for the Enrou Better You. Better World. Challenge. I cannot wait to begin. Enrou just launched their site and surprised me with a great email about this challenge so I’m just itching to begin! If you don’t know about Enrou here’s a short blurb from their website:
We partner with socially responsible brands to curate rare and beautiful products, handcrafted by artisans in developing communities around the world.
Our brand partners empower these communities by creating jobs and providing training, as well as health education, financial coaching and business mentorships.
Furthermore, each product is accompanied by the story of the person who made it — forging a personal connection between the buyer and maker.
The 14-day challenge is about intentional living and creating a better you which will in turn create a better world. This challenge is an encouragement to reflect on your values and continuing to make choices that reflect them. During the 14 day challenge all you do is take a picture or post how you made a choice that helped to create a #betteryoubetterworld . You can sign up here and if you think you’ll be a little stuck you can choose to receive emails that will give you tips and suggestions throughout the 14 days. If you do sign up let me know! I would love to follow your posts!
